According to the most recent count by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority,
there are 57,794 homeless people in Los Angeles County, a 23% increase since 2016.
With only 14,496 shelter beds available,
43,298 homeless men, women, and children in Los Angeles have nowhere to sleep
other than on sidewalks, in doorways, and on bus benches.
Their problem is our problem.
With your support, we can do something meaningful to change
the dark and lonely world of the homeless in our community, one life at a time.
Reaching Out California is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
that reaches out to homeless people in Greater Los Angeles,
one person at a time.
We would really appreciate your help.
Reaching Out California raised over $6,300 in 3 recent online auctions, thanks to over 40 businesses and individuals who very generously donated items for the Winter 2016, Spring 2017, and Summer 2017 auctions, as well as to supporters who purchased the auction items.
