OUR DAY ON SKID ROW: MARCH 6, 2022

On Sunday, March 6, 2022, we packed 200 bagged care packages into six large size-marked boxes and brought the boxes to the downtown loft of the Brown Bag Lady. For the next several hours, we were thrilled to be able to work shoulder to shoulder with Brown Bag Lady's enthusiastic team of volunteers, who we joined in the sorting of the many articles of clothing that had been donated to the Brown Bag Lady for distribution.

Reaching Out California volunteers spent this chilly March afternoon handing out the clothing and hygiene care packages we had prepared to homeless men and women, along with bottled water and various other items that had been donated to the Brown Bag Lady for distribution to men and women experiencing homelessness. We are so grateful for the continuing efforts of the Brown Bag Lady, as well as for the opportunity to join her wonderful team in support of our most vulnerable neighbors.
