The Care package Distribution

On July 4, 2016, Reaching Out California volunteers gave away over 250 individually-prepared humanitarian care packages to homeless people who live in the skid row area of Los Angeles.

Each humanitarian care package we prepared and distributed included a a toothbrush, a tube of toothpaste, a bottle of body wash, and several containers of shampoo.  We also gave each homeless man and woman a brand new t-shirt and pair of socks, and a bottle of cold water.

Reaching Out California is extremely grateful to the companies that generously contributed to our care package distribution event:

  • Walmart
  • Fallas Discount Stores
  • Whole Foods Markets
  • Gelson's Markets
  • The Beverly Hilton Hotel

The personal hygiene kits, shirts, socks, and bottled water we distributed provided much-needed revitalization to over 250 homeless men and women.

We were excited to be able to work with the Midnight Mission for this event, a wonderful organization that offers paths to self-sufficiency to men, women and children who have lost their direction.

Thank you for allowing us to help the most vulnerable members of our community.
