MARCH 2018 Distribution of Care packages

Reaching Out California volunteers assembled over 250 pairs of socks, t-shirts, bottles of body wash, shampoo, and hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, tubes of toothpaste, and bottles of water. The items were carefully packaged for distribution to homeless men and women in need of basic hygiene products and brand new clothing. We also separately boxed and delivered to the homeless population served by the Midnight Mission numerous articles of winter clothing that had been donated to Reaching Out California during a recent clothing drive.

On March 21, 2018, during a rainy afternoon in Los Angeles, Reaching Out California volunteers distributed over 250 humanitarian care packages to homeless men and women at the Midnight Mission. The men and women who received the care packages were extremely grateful for the relief we were able to provide. Many thanks to Walmart, Iverbe Day and Sports Camp, and our other very generous donors for continuing to support our efforts. We are also grateful to the Midnight Mission for its great work and for its partnership on this project.
