In November 2019, Reaching Out California volunteers solicited, collected, and carefully sorted hundreds of pieces of children's clothing for distribution to homeless children who attend an elementary school in suburban Los Angeles. The donated clothing consisted of shirts, sweaters, dresses, jackets, pants, sweatpants, socks, and shoes, and included critically important winter wear in anticipation of the cold months ahead.
Many donors generously contributed to Reaching Out California's 2019 Sharing the Warmth Clothing Drive for Kids, including students at Beverly Hills High School and Beverly Vista Middle School, the LA Kids Consignment, Iverbe Summer Camp, personnel at the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, and individual families who have asked to remain anonymous.
