PREPARING 300 MORE SACK LUNCHES FOR THE HOMELESS

In January 2021, coronavirus infection rates were surging in Southern California, exposing local homeless men and women to increased health risks and reducing the availability of food.  Reaching Out California volunteers embraced the opportunity to provide a meal for 300 homeless people served at the Midnight Mission.

On January 23, 2021, sack lunches with turkey and cheese sandwiches and granola bars were packed and delivered to the Midnight Mission, an effort subsidized by the many generous donors who support Reaching Out California.  Many thanks to our thoughtful donors and to the Midnight Mission for supporting our continuing effort to provide relief to the homeless.
